  1. Preheat oven to 275°F
  2. Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Lay out bread on parchment paper.
  4. In a bowl wisk together with a fork the oil and the the ranch packet.
  5. Grab a basting/pastry brush.
  6. Dunk into oil mix and wipe each slice of bread with it. (The seasoning will settle so every time u dunk swish the brush around.
  7. Flip bread over.
  8. Baste second side.
  9. (U don't have to completely soak or completely coat each side. Just do like pics show.)
  10. Cut each slice into strips about a half inch wide or whatever you like. Size doesn't matter here.
  11. Cuteach strip into whatever size pieces you would like. I did 3/4 inch some are varied. I like a variety of sizes.
  12. (For easiest cutting of the bread I used a pair of clean kitchen sissors.)
  13. Spread bread out onto baking sheet in a single layer.
  14. Bake in oven for 15 min. Then toss bread around flipping it over, getting inside pieces to outside. ( doesn't have to be perfect. Just as good as you can. :) ) bake an additional 15 minutes.
  15. Remove from oven and let it cool 5 minutes.
  16. Transfer to a bowl and serve
  17. Or let cool completely and store in labled and dated zipper bags
  18. Enjoy!
  19. Makes about 4 cups of croutons.
