  1. Soak daal for 4/5 hours
  2. Collect all the ingredients
  3. Finely chop or paste onion ginger garlic green chilli and tomatoes
  4. In pressure cooker add oil jeera asafoetida powder onion and saute till golden in colour add ginger garlic chilli paste saute add tomato puree or finely chopped tomatoes stir and cook till all mix well and tomatoes get mashy and cooked
  5. Drain out soaked daal add it in the cooker stir for 5 minutes add water as much thick or thin gravy you want I have added 11/2 glasses of water and close the lid of cooker give 4 whistles on high flame than slow the flame let it simmer for for 15 minutes switch off the flame when pressure release add cream and kasoori methi just I tsp crushed take out in serving bowl garnish with fresh coriander leaves and cream serve with paratha bread chapati or rice
