- First of all mix the flours into a large mixing bowl, add the roasted sesame seeds, melon seeds, chilli flakes, black pepper powder and salt.
- Mix well and add oil and mix all the ingredients till well combined.
- Meanwhile dissolve the jaggery by boiling it in half cup of water.
- Now add little jaggery syrup little at a time and knead the mixture into a soft and firm dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes at room temperature.
- Meanwhile, pre-heat the oven at 180 Degree Centigrade
- Roll out the dough into a large circle or a rectangle of 1/4 th inch thickness and cut out desired shapes with a knife or a cookie cutter. You can also use a pizza cutter to cut these into diamond shapes.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges turn a light brown. - (Take care not to burn them.)
- When done take them out and let them cool down to the room temperature.
- Serve the crunchy crackers to your loved ones.
