- In an empty clean pot add 2cups of water bring to boil,add d plug just leaves allow to cook for 5munites,then add d crushed locust beans,cry fish and seasoning allow to cook for 10munites
- Pour d cook leaves in to a blender,blend well till smooth.And serve hot.
- Ewedu soup can be served wt stew soup + any swallow like Amala,Eba,Semo,fufu etc
- I served my Ewedu soup with Eba.
Ewedu soup is the green slimy soup obtained from cooking the ewedu leaves; the English name of this plant is jute mallow with the botanical name Corchorus olitorius. Ewedu leaves contain vitamins that increase the production of collagen in the body. This makes the skin more firm and beautiful.
