- Prepare 1 tsp Mustard seed
- Make ready 4 Dry red chillies
- Take Few Curry leaves
- Prepare 2 tbsp oil
- Take to taste Salt
Japgokbap means "multi-grain" rice in Korean. It's a mixture of rice, grains and beans. Like multigrain bread, multigrain rice is much healthier than plain white rice. For this reason, many Koreans eat multigrain rice with their meals.
Steps to make Multi grain rice:
- Wash and soak rice, pulses and legumes and vegetables for 15 mins.
- Cook 1:2 ratio in cooker with salt and 1tbs ghee, After the 1st whistle, reduces the flame and keep for 8 mins.
- Let it cool, now dry fry all the ingredients and grind as powder.
- Keep a pan add 1tbs oil, fry onion and keep. In the same pan add oil, tempering mustard seed, dry chilli, curry leaves and add with rice and add ground powder also. Now add 1cup hot water with tamarind paste and salt. Mix well. Sprinkle coriander leaves and 1tbs ghee. If the consistency is too thick then add more hot water,.
- Serve healthy and tasty rice with papad.
